Alex Pires is a writer,  animator, and series developer.

 

He most recently wrote for the shows, What If?,  How to Survive , and Aperture for the Popular Science streaming channel.

Alex Pires has been successfully developing original content across animation, having developed his preschool series with Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. and successfully sold original IPs to platforms like Muslim Kids TV. His work spans major networks, including Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, and Netflix.

Alex co-created and currently writes for the comic book series "Mech VS Monsters," and also runs the online webcomic "Broken Dome."

​When he isn't talking about himself in third person, he can be found taking care of his community and drinking plenty of water.
